Bali Tour - Central Bali Artistic
The tale of the battle between good and evil comes to life in the sleepy village of Batu Baulan, a village where the ancient art of Barong Dance, a uniquely Balinese dramatic dance is pasted down through the families. Also famous in this area and distinguishable by the many roadside “factories”, are the temple carvings and ornaments made from Paras (sandstone).
As with most art forms in Bali, the unique carvings and statues were once created by ancestors of the families, their skills and secrets having been past down through the centuries. A visit to a local Batik factory and an insight into how this world renowned hand made material, made from natural products, is manufactured.
We enjoy delicious coffee and cake at the Bali Bird Park where we enter a fascinating world of exotic sights and sounds; a cast of hundreds of the world’s rare and most beautiful tropical birds greet you as you stroll through the sculptured tropical gardens.
