Gwk and Uluwatu
Before lunch the tour combines the thrill of using open sided vehicles or air conditioned mini bus to cruise up the slopes to The GWK Cultural park. The park is dramatically perched on limestone cliffs with views of the tourist Mecca’s of Nusa Dua and Kuta. Dominating the parks landscape are 2 enormous bronze statues of Hindu gods. (22 & 25 metres high)The 2 statues are part of a project to make the world’s largest landmark which will stand 146 metres high compared to New York’s Statue of Liberty, measuring a mere 86 metres.
Journeying on to the Southern most point of the island you will stop at the impressive Uluwatu temple. Once inside the temple area, guests are met with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and a more intimate connection with the locals…Monkeys!
