From your accommodation, we take a scenic drive to the Sacred Baths and Holy Springs of Tirta Empul.Tirta Empul is a favoured pilgrimage site of Balinese Hindus as the source of it's waters are believed be of magical origin. Balinese folklore recalls countless examples of healing and miracles attributed to the 'Luids' like qualities of the water.
The next stop is the spectacular area of Kintamani. The climate is quite cool and allows us to breathe deeply as we descend to the crater lake to take in the views of the active Mount Batur, Ulun Danao Batur Temple and the glistening Lake Batur.The panoramas are a photographers delight.
From here we take to road and move onward to another of Bali’s treasures to have a close encounter with the ‘gentle giants’….Elephants.
